About ZAN Community
A public proof-of-work platform for Filipinos starting out in tech: developers, designers, video editors, virtual assistants and everyone else building a tech career, built to close the experience gap, the network gap and the confidence gap.
The problem
Five struggles keep coming up in the community, and they share one root cause: members have no public evidence of their work and no deadline forcing them to produce it.
- Experience versus employment. Jobs require experience; experience requires a job. A resume carries zero visibility. A live link replaces it with finished work anyone can open.
- Imposter syndrome. Members compare their first project to people with ten years in the field. Here your first build sits next to other first builds.
- Process paralysis. Preparing to work instead of shipping. Only live links get posted.
- Career detours and rust. A safe, low-stakes place to warm up, with encouragement-only comments.
- No direction after the basics. Session challenges give a concrete brief to build against.
What ZAN is, and is not
The website is not a learning platform and not a critique service. It is a public shelf for finished work, plus the home base for sessions, winners and sponsors. Its second job is to run Sessions with ZAN: live sessions for freelancers, startup founders and startup developers, booked and paid for here.
The name
Zenith, reaching your highest potential through continuous growth. Aspiration, the ambition to aim higher and keep moving. Network, strong connections where people collaborate and grow together. The hexagon is the community: different individuals forming one connected whole.

Built in the open
The platform runs on Laravel, Livewire and Tailwind, the same stack the community learns, so the site itself is a teaching artifact.
